bought these for my wife on her week long AT hike (Tennessee/North Carolina.) they stayed put and she stayed dry. plus they were easy to clean afterward

I got these because the shoes I wear have what I call funnel tops. Every little piece of dirt and evergreen needle seems to find its way in, so I got these to cover the tops of my hiking boots. You can't wear these with shorts or you'll lose about a gallon of water through sweat. I'll hold onto them and wear them with when there's snow to help keep my jeans dry. Hopefully I'll get better results.

EDIT: I've had them for just a couple weeks and already the stitching is coming out. If I don't sew them, the velcro will detach soon. :(----They're great, simple, and I forget I have them on until I'm out in public! Ooops! Hah! Both sides are ALMOST the same (reversable) except the strap under the foot comes loose one way and not the other. I like.

I couldn't believe it when I opened the package. These are about half the size of what they appear to be in the picture and don't come anywhere near to reaching the top of my calf.
