highly recommend, great book
Great story for a little bit older siblings to be. Sounded so much like our 7 year old grand daughter and her feelings toward a new baby.

just ok
Kind of long and detailed. Definitely not ideal for young toddlers. My daughter is 16 months and loves books but this one was way too long!

Not too bad
Nice book and great storyline but a bit long for my daughter. It also had personal writing in it.. I didnt realize it was used.

Two Stars
too wordy, can't keep my 2 year old attention at all. Other than this, kind of cute

much wordier than we wanted
We were looking for a simpler story for my daughter. She only 2 and gets bored with longer stories. She will say "the end" before the end of the book.

Not sure whether it sets up the positive relationship towards the new sibling
From the style of the pictures I assumed that the book was geared towards toddlers, but now I don't know who can benefit from reading it - maybe older children who have ambivalent feelings towards the new baby and need to process their feelings, to feel heard and validated? The older sister in the book is very negative towards the idea of having a sibling, and criticizes both the baby (boring, not needed) and the mother (sloppy, stretched pants). She only mellows by the end of the book when the baby is born.My 3 years old is positive about the baby and she also likes to imitate stuff from the books. So for us this one was a big NO.
