Best Loofah ever! Not hard, even when dry. Dries quickly. Removed a few seeds in the middle. Wish we had the right climate to grow them here. Put a little shampoo in it & get tons of suds. Easy to clean my back with gentle exfoliation. Cut a couple of sections off the end to gently wash my face. I remove the inner center of any loofah that I buy, as it is more pliable & dries quicker. Would not be necessary with this loofah but I did & it is like the best natural wash cloth on the planet. Shipped flat & folded.Also purchased the set of 3. Fantastic bargain for $8.99! I cut out the centers to use as vegetable brushes. I use very old loofahs as tub & shower cleaning tools as I like to recycle. I will have these for a very long time I’m sure. Appreciate them being organic.

It did have a smell like a dried pumpkin, something I appreciate knowing it's all organic and not bleached or fake and after it got out of the tub and it dried out there has been NO smell whatsoever. I'd been told to get a Lufa for years but thought my plastic puff was just fine, I was really wrong! The plastic sponge is nothing like this! The Lufa made my skin feel so amazing that I told my husband he had to go shower and use it. I won't be going without a lufa every again and I'm very pleased with this one I ordered from. For $10 I received a large gourd, albeit wrapped in plastic, it was a step better than buying mixed-material loofahs which can't be recycled or composted. I cared that this product had no tags/labels/ other materials so I can compost it when done.I cut up the loofah for many uses. It expands and softens in water.- Dish sponge: the shape is oddly ergonomic and comfortable in my hands. I prefer to use it for doing the dishes over the other sponges I've bought over my lifetime. Works on the carbon steel pans too. Best of all, no microplastics running down the drain.- Shower: I strung hemp rope in it and it lathers up with soap. Feels so good on my body especially my skin runs dry. It's mesmerizing to see the shape is the true origin of a traditional plastic loofah I used as a kid. Mine did have some black "dirty" pieces in it which appears like dried parts of the vegetable. It's a natural product so I don't mind.- Cat toy: I throw t in a box with catnip and he goes crazy because he can stick his claws in it.

I love this brand of Loofah. I’ve been searching for a loofah similar to the type that I’ve purchased while in Egypt years ago. This loofah came very close. I like a nice, hard Loofah to use for my feet and even as dish scrubbies.You can cut this down to size to suit all your needs. I even gifted a couple pieces. Soak it in hot water as the instructions say to clean and rinse the remainder of the seeds out and your good to go.I would definitely buy again!

I don’t usually write reviews, but this is an item that I recommend. I have been using loofahs for many years because it really exfoliates your body compared to the synthetic ones. I usually buy them at Walmart for like $3 each and it only a small size you get and I replace them every 3 weeks. I started looking at amazon to see if I can find a large one that can last me a while and save money and I found this one. I love the clean feeling I get after each shower! For the price you can not go wrong. And you can cut it to your size liking. Definitely will continue to purchase this loofah :).I added these pictures to show the difference on the loofah after 3 weeks of use the new one is on the right. Pretty gross how much dead skin comes off.

I was pleasantly surprised by this loofah. I was researching alternative loofahs because I hated the idea of throwing mine in a landfill. But this is an amazing alternative! I cut off about a 5in piece, soaked it in water and used it in the shower that night. Don’t be thrown off by the smell when you first take it out of the package, I’m sure that is just due to the packaging process. I assure you it goes away very quickly. In the shower it took on suds nicely and gave me and amazing exfoliation. It’s soft and not extremely rough. Feels very similar to the plastic loofah. Will be tying a string to it soon and I will be buying it again and again. I did a little research prior about what area to buy them from and although I didn’t try out the others from other parts of the world, this one suits my needs perfectly. Would highly recommend!!

I bought this luffa to cut up until multiple sponges and because they’re organic! Unboxing and soaking in the water was entertaining and did exactly as the description said. My one complaint about the sponge in it’s entirety would be that one end was twice the size of the other end. Otherwise, it’s a great product! They exfoliate much better than normal luffa’s and are very durable. Definitely worth the money!

I purchased this loofah along with some from another seller. As you can see, this is far superior. This one is going to be stitched at the ends with ropes attached. The inferior will be used to wash dishes.There were seeds and an odd smell. A quick soak and wash in some dish soap took care if that. I separated the inner portion of loofahs so I can lay them flat more easily, but it also makes getting the seeds out a breeze.I can fit my whole arm inside, so this is not small. Will definitely order more when the time comes

I bought this a it was quite long so I cut it into three pieces you have to soak it it water before use it. It had a smell and a lot of seeds come out of it. I mean at least 40 seeds ... it says there is a few but not true. But it seems ok to exfoliate... but did like the removing all the seeds and it is smell at first

These loofahs are brilliant! The first couple of uses are quite rough on the skin but you adapt to it and you can immediately feel a deeper more exfoliating cleanse occurring. Certainly gets the blood circulating as well! Was packaged well and came as described. Thanks :)
