Gutermann Elastic Thread 11 Yards-White

I bought an elastic thread by another brand - at my local Jo-anns. It was terrible, not stretchy, and would separate very easily, super frustrating I had to rip everything back out. I have always preferred Gutermann threads, and this elastic thread is no exception. It is a far higher quality, with FAR less breakage - and most important of all, it's not frustrating like other brands. I will only ever buy this brand of elastic thread.

This elastic thread was perfect for shirring the top of this dress. It turned out lovely and I have already purchased more.

I bought this elastic thread in attempt to make my dad's small buttons looser on his dress shirt, so he could better manage on his own with no longer nimble fingers. It's quite thick and barely thread through the needle eye, yet worked as planned.

It works well. I liked it. I didn't like that I only used it for one project and 75% of it is gone. I also don't like at all that I paid more than double the amount it would have costed at Michael's. I actually hate that.

Gutterman never disappoints. I use it for gathering material. I have it in black and white. It has good stretch to it yet isn't easy to break.

I knitted a hat for my granddaughter and the rim was too loose on her. Used this, doubled, to sew in 3 rows of elastic and it fits her beautifully. Weird though that the description is for a steering wheel cover. I was a bit nervous until the item arrived.
