I brought this as I needed a non-fermentable sweetener for an experimental batch of Summer Fruit Cider that I am making. After the initial fermentation was complete the result was drier that a Camels ...... well, let’s just say it was extremely dry and required back sweetening. Using sugar was out of the question as I planning to bottle condition and sugar cause far too much secondary fermentation.After clearing the cider, I racked it into a clean demijohn and added 3 tsp of the sweeter, shook and sampled tasted. This was not quite enough so I added and tested until I was happy with the sweeteners. From there I bottled it as normal.On its own it has a very artificial after taste, but once blended with your brew, this is not as noticeable. Only time will tell if the final brew is as I’d hoped.

This product is great for improving a poor bottle of red wine, I found 2 ml is enough in a bottle to make it become a good bottle to enjoy

I needed to sweeten the wine i had made this product is very good however it arived and had leaked.The product however needs very little amounts so it was ok in the end

Actual wine sweetener is very good. The description on the advert is for 550ml, the label on the bottle reads 500ml because of this I decided to measure the actual liquid, it measured 450ml. Found this disappointing.

Excellent value. Not cheap but it goes a very long way.Adds sweetness without any aftertaste.Use sparingly as its very concentrated.Can be used, drop wise, to sweeten a glass of dry wine.

Made a cider that was far too sharp to drink, a bit of this and it's now one of my favourite brews. Will keep a bottle on hand at all times from now on!
