This is the real deal for wired, outdoor, incandescent lawn lighting. The quality is excellent and installation couldn't be easier. The new design has reduced the old 3-screw assembly to a single screw. Included is an extra post adapter, a nice plus. You may want to consider ordering a few extras in case they are discontinued due to the proliferation of low-v units everywhere.

Ordered 5 of the 4 tier light fixtures to replace 5 of the 3 tier light fixtures (RAB) installed 19 years ago. Simple matter of removing wire nuts and reinstalling. Hint: You can adjust the height of the fixtures by adjusting the length of 1/2 pipe between the black end cap (fits over the ~2.5" PVC pipe coming out of ground {this can be purchased from local lumber yard and cut to length you want}) and the bottom of the fixture. But it requires pipe threads on both ends of the 1/2" pipe. I purchased black 1/2" pipe, threaded on both ends, from local lumber yard. They had different lengths from 1" to 12" (measured from end of threading, not end of pipes). After installation, and after waiting a couple of weeks for the rain/weather to wear off the oil on the black pipe, you can spray paint the pipes, including exposed threads. Just mask off the fixtures to prevent overspray.

This was a replacement item for an older one destroyed by a car. Screwed right into the mount, connected wires to existing feeds and all was fine. The device is well built and solid, but no match for a car. Using a 60 watt equiv cfl throws plenty of light.

These RAB lights replaced existing RAB lights that we have had for over 20 years. We live near salt water, but the RAB lights weather very well under those conditions. Thank you for the quality product.

Very pleased with these lights. My husband bought one and liked the quality so he bought 3 more to place it in the walkway by our planter. We even got compliments today from our neighbors who wanted to know where we got them. It serves its purpose by lighting the area very well.

There is no bulb! Also the leads are too short to reach the juction box so I had to use twist caps inside the unit but it works fine now.
