This book was great for the simple message that you can like your curly hair and your parent can also like their own curly hair too. The young girl seeing her own mother has curly hair after thinking it was usually straight was quite an important moment. Arabic architecture and people in abundance leading to more conversations whilst reading and adding much needed diversity to books out there.

Lovely book, beautiful pictures. A good book for smaller children.

The illustrations are outstanding in this beautifully written story. So great!
