Her Again: Becoming Meryl Streep

I have read this biography avidly after falling for an extract published by a magazine. Full of interesting facts, even if at times secondary figures are excessively developed. I would recommend this to anyone interested in a good biography of the best living actress in the world. Shame it covers only the first 10 years of her career.

Only gives information about Merly Streep's early life up until she receives her first Oscar.. So many unnecessary information about other people this is distracting. This makes the book very boring and unpleasant.

Good service but not such a good story.

Nothing new here I felt. Had read it all before in interviews and magazines. Had I known I wouldn't have bought it.

I loved the detailed description of how Meryl developed her craft and am overwhelmed by her energy and commitment. Great.

This very interesting product arrived very well

Reading a badly written biography is really difficult: you want to toss the book aside, but you can't give up if you want the information.This covers Streep's early life and swift ascent to stardom. It's written in a breathless, romantic-novel style that's hugely offputting, and makes everything seem like a TV movie or a YA fantasy. Really very distracting.My copy is going straight to the local charity shop.
