This set includes 1 large cup tea infuser （size: 2" * 2.75") and 2 small cup tea infusers ( size: 1.5" * 2").

Q: How many teaspoons of loose leaf tea does each size hold?

The big one is about 24 teaspoons, the small one is about 10 teaspoons.

Q: is this perforated on the bottom?

Yes it is. These are great. Very happy with the 2 sizes

Q: is it only for brewing or is it also safe to boil herbs in electric kettle using this filter? In other words, can it take the heat?

I would think so. I use it to brew mint tea by filling it with minced tea leaves and loose tea, lowering it into a 6 qt. kettle of boiling water, removing the kettle from the stove, then letting the tea steep for 15 minutes. It has been great.
