Wow! It SPRAYS!
I honestly thought when I was purchasing this toy that there was a high likelihood the spray would be weak and puny, practically none existent.I was wrong folks!! For a bathtub toy, this really is not practical. It sprays a good foot to a foot and half in the air! Holy smokes! It sprays my little ones face, it sprays outside the tub, it sprays Mom & Dad! Wow!While my 10m old loves it (until he’s tired of getting sprayed in the face), Momma does not enjoy being sprayed at all or trying to contain the spray inside the tub.

Should be named the dysfunctional Octopus
I really wanted to love this toy ..... My daughter is 11 months old and loves the bath . When I saw this toy , my my hopes were high . We unboxed it and I immediately noticed the yellow top . Nothing holds the yellow top on it comes off none stop while the toy is in operation . Also , when it inoperation it’s another peice I have to keep track of . The water feature , it is more like a high powered fountain. We turned it on , my poor girl looked at us in a panic . It shot EVERYWHERE ! Even up her nose , she hated the toy . I do not recommend this toy if your child has any fear of water . Or if they don’t like water pouring on their head .

Great tub toy!
I bought this for tub time for my 1-year-old granddaughter, and she really enjoys it. It floats around and sprays water up, really cute. It takes 2 AAA batteries (not included), so I hope it doesn't rust out with a lot of water play. It doesn't make a loud noise and is not overly large - just right for the bath. I don't get the 2-star review that says it's cheaply made because it definitely is not. It's very sturdy and the colors are very vibrant (I received a purple one). I hope these become available again; I would buy as gifts.

Great Customer Service
August 2020 - was contacted by the company after they noticed the review below, they sent us a replacement, after one use everything seems fine, works great, I will update this in the future as we continue use.July 2020 - The battery compartment is not water tight, even with the seal lined up properly, there are many better options out there, skip this one. Purchased in may review written in July

Doesn't spray water out of tub (yay!)
I was concerned that this would spray water out of the tub, but it does not. My 2 year old loves this! It spins and sprays gentle streams of water and seems to be very enjoyable to play with in the tub. It's not loud or obnoxious, and won't spray unless it's in the water (which I appreciate). I am very pleased with this tub toy and would recommend it for toddlers at least.

Bath toy not water proof
This bath toy is not water proof. After 3 or 4 uses, it stopped working. I thought maybe it just burned through the batteries but found moisture in the battery compartment when I went to change them. To be sure that was the issue, I replaced the batteries and it wouldn't turn on.In short, stear clear. Possible I recieved a defective model, but I wouldn't chance it.

Great toy-but ensure all pieces are in place!
When it worked, it was amazing! However, water apparently got into an area that should have been sealed, causing the unit to malfunction. Water also got into the battery area, causing corrosion and a mess. My little boy got maybe four uses out of it? Four stars because I am not positive whose fault the malfunction was-we may have lost a seal when replacing the batteries.

Battery killer
It works great and does what it says it does. But the only downfall is it sucks the batteries extemely fast. I put brand new batteries and only lasted two days. I would only have the toy on for 3 hours a day. Oh I used energizer and duracell brand batteries.

compartment is not waterproof !!!!!
The battery compartment is NOT completely waterproof. I was unknowingly bathing my child with this toy that had rusted leaky batteries. NOT IMPRESSED!! so unsafe

lots of scratches but works good
The toy I received has lots of scratches on the sides, but I keep it because it works well and kids love it.
