These hooks are great. The magnet is strong and capable of holding a reasonable weight. Obviously expectations need to be hedged here - they’re not going to be holding anything that’s really heavy but they’re great for things like towels (hand/kitchen not full on bath towels), oven gloves and cooking utensils (more like spoons, measuring cups and spatulas not a saucepan) which is what I use them for. Especially great in kitchens and bathrooms that need somewhere to hang things with not much space. Also useful is the fact the hooks can unscrew and detach from the magnetic base.Overall these have a reasonable magnetic strength, are very handy and useful and don’t slide about or mark surfaces. These are fantastic, I love them so much I ordered more. They are super strong and will hold just about anything you want to hang on them. We have them in the kitchen hanging utensils, measuring cups, cutting boards, lunch boxes, on my son's metal loft bed holding his hats and sports equipment and in our bathroom holding jewelry and hair bands. Just make sure to check the size of the hook you need - these are a smaller hook and they work great for smaller items but if you want to hang larger items, you may want to go up a size. The magnetic is super strong, we haven't had anything fall yet and have some heavy wood/metal items hanging.

So first of all, kudos on delivery. Less than a day. Nice and shiny, they look well made. I bought them to stick to my steel garage cupboards and hang spirit level, long rulers and hand saws from. They seemed to stick with a good solid clunk. I thought 18kg was well in excess of what I would need to hang a small hand saw from. I do understand the hooks say 18kg pulling power, and have no way of measuring a direct pull from the cupboard. However, a 600 gram hand saw hanging off the hook and it just slid to the floor. Others in the same packet took the weight, But a second saw, saw those too fail. These are hooks, people will be expecting to hang things from them - surely they should be able to take less than a kilogram in weight!!?

The stregnth of these hooks are miraculous! Have them all over my utility room and my husband has them in his work shed. I have already bought 3 lots and I'm certain I will be buying more! Making storage so much easier. Thank you!

I've used these magnets to successfully hang a hand towel and dish cloth to the side of a fridge freezer. They have good magnetic strength and don't slide about. The surface of the fridge freezer remains undamaged after several months.The remaining magnets have proved to be very interesting to my kids who have been fascinated by how they repel each other and how they suddenly attach. Put a few close together on a table, move one towards them then watch them move around. Simple things...

Great magnets, small but powerful. I bought them because my car sunroof had a leak and I needed to keep a tarp over it until I took it to the garage. The tarp kept blowing off in the slightest breeze but once I'd secured it with these magnets it stayed in place for a couple of weeks. The magnets are starting to rust now at the join between the hook and the base, but there were no claims about them being weatherproof and they did what I needed them to do, so I've got no complaints.

Perfect size and weight bearing. We use them to hang our outside Christmas lights around the top of our house as we have a metal roof and fascia

I have no words. I was not expecting these to be as strong as they are. I am very impressed and I will surely ordering more. I wanted to use them to hang some light utensils and i was worried that they would come off every time i would pull an utensil. They do not move at all and are very strong. I will use them everywhere that I can! Can't recommend them enough!
