Vitamin K2 (Menaquinone-7, 50 mcg) is perfect when you are taking a multi vitamin with about 400-500 mg of vitamin D and calcium. The ratio of K2 to Vitamin D should be about 1:10. Add a little boron and with your vitamin C containing multi-vitamin, and you have a perfect combo to absorb the calcium in your multi along with the calcium in your breakfast. You may need to take another 50 mcgs of vitamin k2 later on in the day to make sure your vitamin D is getting the help it needs to get calcium is absorbed. Make sure

Solaray is yet another company under the Nutraceutical supplement umbrella. Nutraceutical is a mega distributor of supplements that outsources most everything. I did not realize that when I bought these vitamins that Solaray was yet another small supplement company gobbled up by Nutraceutical. If I had known, I would never have bought these vitamins. Several years ago, we bought 2 canisters of Peaceful Planet brown rice protein powder, which is a Veg-Life product and also owned by Nutraceutical. Both canisters were missing their seals. We called Nutraceutical's customer service in Park City, UT. We were completely blown off. Seriously, the person we spoke with was not just indifferent, but rude.This bottle of vitamins represents that there are 30 capsules in the bottle. When we opened it, it was obviously short. There were only 27 caps in the bottle. We called Solaray's (Nutraceutical) customer service in Park City, UT. If anything, we though that they would like some info from the bottle. You know, the lot number, expiration date, etc. Nope. We were told that it is not our issue, call Amazon! Out of curiosity, we asked where the ingredients for the Vit K was sourced from. The person we spoke with did not know and said that she had no way to find out! Seriously, that is not only poor customer service, it is irresponsible and possibly, dangerous for us consumers.The lesson: Do your homework before buying supplements. We are not advising anyone what to buy or from whom. I can say quite emphatically, that we will not buy anything manufactured or distributed through Nutraceutical ever again. And, will be certain to caution our family, friends, and colleagues, as well.
