It may be obvious to some, but when you insert the wire on one end the wire will go all the way through if the bare wire is too long. You need to make sure the bare wire is less than a 1/4 inch exposed to avoid this problem. I was connecting 10 pairs of speakers and took me a little while to figure out that one end of the wire went to the end of the tube, while the other only went as far as the initial opening short of the metal contact point. When I clamped down both wires there was no connection. Its an easy fix once you know, but if the initial connection was in an awkward place that you closed, going back to it is a pain. There is a tiny pin that sticks up in the middle of the connect that's supposed to act as a mid-way wall but its useless. You can easily push the wire past it without notice.

Much better than those cheap plastic ones I have been using. These are solid and easy to crimp and wire stays put.

Sleeves are decent and cheap. I took off a star, because several of them split while I was crimping them, it took a bit of work to figure out how much pressure they like, which really slowed down my project at first. They could benefit from less brittle plastic.

Shipped fast, well packaged and product worked well. Will definitely purchase in the future.

These are the worst. They don't work with a crimping tool, or pliers. I tried with about 10 of them before I just gave up. I have never had trouble with other brands, but these are maddening. Don't buy unless throwing things, and using obscenities is your jam.

My first try failed, but it was 100% my fault for not paying attention to where the crimpers were sitting. After that, every one has worked perfectly.

Perfect for connecting small gauge wires when working on a car radio. Works as expected.

Worked as suppose to, but found an easier way to make wire connections. (Search on the internet.) Good product, though.
