This toy is a lot of fun and actually really sturdy once put together - our son lugs the entire setup around the house to play with it in different spots and, so far, it hasn't fallen apart at all. When I first opened the box I was flummoxed with all the parts, and the instructions weren't the clearest, but once you started putting it together, the visual guides on the instruction book actually made a lot of sense. Our 4yo LOVES this toy and has it all figured out!

My son has had this toy for 9 months. About a month ago, both cars stopped working. This is an expensive set and if I would have known that you cannot buy replacement cars or that these cars would not last, I would not have bought this set. Be forewarned!! Do not buy this set. I have had an awful time getting ahold of this company. I will never buy anything from this company again!. My son did absolutely love this toy but without cars to play on it, it's obviously a waste.

Overall this is a really fun toy and I love that the kids have to crank the remote instead of just passively pulling a trigger. One of the cars didn't work initially: it would not charge. I reached out to customer service and received a response in less than 24 hours. The problem seemed to fix itself because before I could even respond to their email my children had the car running.It's still a little wonky and I sometimes have to wiggle the charging plug around where it attaches to said car, but it works.

I was concerned buying a track like this, but I am very happy with this toy. As other posts say, the cars are rechargeable, but we have not had an issue with them dying when my boys still want to play. Directions for how to assemble pictured track are included, as well as pictures of other designs you could make. It looks complicated at first, but it was easy to assemble. I also like that the kids have to spin the handle to make the cars go, instead of just pulling a trigger. My kids love it - worth the price.

This toy is hit or miss. The concept is relly great and it sure did put a smile on the kids faces playing with only one car out of two. Yes only one car worked out of the box. The second car would not charge. That happens from time to time, I’ll give the manufacturer that much. However the killer is that customer service is none existent, at least for me it was. I could not find a contact to obtain a replacement car. I even ask the community a question twice about getting support and replacement parts. I got no response at all. So the rating is three because the product is really on to a very good idea, the car stayed on the track like being glued on. A car can go in reverse as fast and easy as going forward and the kids liked that. But only one car worked so I sent the whole set back. I asked my self what are the chances that lightening strikes twice in the same spot? With that thought in mind I ordered a replacement race set. I have not received it yet, my fingers are crossed that this one is fully functional!One more thought, there are too many small pieces to this set, many of which could have been combined and simplified. Small items tend to get lost and with more pieces the chances of the track coming apart are very good. Maybe the next version of this race set will get a five star rating but not yet.

For the money this was the worst toy I have ever purchased. The track was very hard to get together and continued to pop apart during play. One car/remote continued to stop working right out of the box. The cars continued to fly off the track and there is not way to slow them down. They go full on or not at all so there is no way to stop them from flying off the track. The instructions actually mention keeping the cars on the track as a challenge during the race,, what a joke. I assumed with the good reviews and high price that this would be good quality but I was wrong. I sent it back.

The instructions are incomplete, and that’s being kind. I will never buy this brand again, and I am this close to boxing it all back up and sending it back. Whomever is responsible for the instructions aught to be ashamed of themselves. Horrible user experience, because I am forced to guess if I am doing it right. The level of frustration is high - I have better things to do with my life. If not for my 6yo, this would already be on its way back.👎🏾

My boys are 5 and 3. Everyone who has two kids that age knows to buy 2 of the same toys each time buying them gifts, otherwise guarantee fighting over different toys. This train set is good that there is two set of race cars and remote controls so we don’t need to buy two of them. The set came with a clear instruction. I enjoyed the time spending with my sons while setting the track set up. The quality of the set is decent. They especially like the cars and they have been holding the cars to schools and their beds.
