Wilkinson Sword Quattro Vintage Edition Men's Razor with 5 Blades

Always a good close wet shave. Vintage look adds to appeal, strong construction, cheaper ones have broken when accidently dropped on hard floor.

This razor was bought to replace one I was sent when they first came out, which had a soft plastic filling on its handle that had deteriorated and was melting. This is much better, but it comes without a stand and doesn't fit the stand for the earlier model. However, it does take the spare Quattro blades I had left over, so all in all, I am pleased I bought it. It is comfortable to hold and provides an excellent shave.

This is a very nice razor I should have switched ages ago much better shave than I got from the Mach 3, plus the wood handle t makes it look and feel good to hold.Part of the reason I am switching after 30 years of using Gillette , due to this razor is a better shave than the Mach 3 by far,secondly and before you say I am none political but this is a very important point I resent being insulted, the man hating commercial gillete put out youtube was a slap in the face of every man that uses their products, and it prompted me to look for a alternative.I hope Wilkinson sword now sees the opportunity left by it and fully takes advantage of it.

Brilliant shaver & blades & definitely cheaper than hydro 5 & the hanle not being plastic doesn't drop the blades out while in use

I am a bit of a traditionalist and loved the wood effect handle (actually plastic, but attractive nonetheless) - it suits the overall decor of the bathroom which is finished in quite a Victorian style…

I am delighted with this razor and the blades. The handle is of quality and looks good. Its just classy. It sits well in the hand. The blades give a really clean shave and last so much longer than Gillette blades do. I can only recommend this.

Having shaved for years using Gillette or Wilkinson Sword blades i have been looking to try something different. I bought both the Gillette limited edition Razor (1 blade) with stand and this Vintage Wilkinson Sword Razor (4 blades). One feels cheap and light while the other have a fantastic weight and delivers as much better shave. The Gillette is a clear winner here even though for the last 6 months i have been using a Wilkinson sword Hydro 5.Firstly, the Vintage WS Blade feel extremely cheap. Its more of plastic faux metal look than the genuine metal used in the design of the GL blade so the GL feels much more premium in the hand and looks the part in my Bathroom. One of the biggest problem with the WS Razor is it will only fit the Quattro blade while the GL fits the Proglide blades which have 5 blades and a better lube strip.The WS felt like it was pulling at the hairs while trying to shave using it while the Proglide was light years ahead offering a much quicker and smooth Shave,. It worth pointing out that the Gillette with the stand is £8 more and you only get one blade head rather than the 4 that come with the WS but the extra blades dont make up for the very poor built quality of WS and bad shave from the blades. I would totally avoid this product and look elsewhere for the new shaving blade.

Bardzo gładko goli.Jedyna wada to to plastikowe "drewno" w dotyku.Całkowicie nie przypomina drewna.

Rasage parfait et près de la peau. Look moderne pour un prix modique. Se glisse efficacement dans ma trousse de toilette. C'est un must !
