I have 2 cats in a studio apartment; this quilt is easier to wipe down than some of my previous quilts (cotton). I don't feel like I need to dread the fur until laundry day to wash. It's kind of shiny and smooth, so the cat hair is easier to remove with a wet rag or lint roller.
